Anita Briem has been an actor in Iceland for more than 20 years. Anita Briesm is an Icelandic actress, is famous for playing Jane Seymour (the young woman who will later be the wife to Henry VIII) in the television show The Tudors. Also for the role of Hannah in the 2008 film Journey to the Center of the Earth. Briem started her acting career at age 9 at the National Theater in Iceland. Briem worked as an actress in Iceland when she was a child. Briem relocated to London when he was 16 years old and participated in an production of a play in The New End Theater called Lenin in Love. Briem, then 19, was admitted to at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. There she studied for three years. Briem earned her degree in Drama, and was awarded the John Barton Prize under the Scenic Fight category.
